Driver
Hire are the UK’s Number 1 driver supply
business. It’s a statement that we’ve
always thought was true, but until recently
we’ve never had the statistics to verify
it. But now, following an in-depth survey
of the driver supply industry by leading
business advisors Ernst & Young, it’s
been confirmed. Driver Hire Nationwide is
indeed the nation’s Number 1 with a
leading market share.
Ernst & Young are also predicting further growth ahead
for Driver Hire. Recession or no recession, the driver supply
business, already worth around £1.7billion annually is
set to rise by a further 20% in the year ahead.
There is of course a very good reason why we’ve got to
Number 1. It’s because we’re good at what we do!
And no, we’re not being big headed. That’s what
Driver Hire customers who responded to our recent Customer
Survey told us.
“ For 74% of our customers, Driver Hire is always the first port of call
whenever they’re looking for a temporary driver,” says Driver Hire’s
Chief Executive Chris Chidley. “A similar number (78%) always find that
the quality of our drivers is good too, proving that Driver Hire drivers are
the best.”
The only trouble with being at the top is that everyone else
is queuing up to knock you off. But that’s not going
to happen at Driver Hire according to Chris Chidley. “We’re
considering a number of innovations to ensure that we stay
ahead of the field. We’re also pushing ahead with the
nationwide rollout of our training scheme and looking at ways
to use available drivers hours more efficiently. And, of course
we’ll be doing our level best to maintain the quality
of service that made us Number 1 in the first place.”
