Andrew Lawton – Franchisee
I first started working for Driver Hire Derby in May 1994 as a Recruitment Consultant. When the opportunity to buy Driver Hire Burton came along in November 2000 I jumped at the chance. In January of 2003 I purchased Driver Hire Stoke and then in January 2004 bought Driver Hire Shrewsbury. Owning three offices brings with it unique challenges, but I am very lucky to have a good team of people in each office who are motivated and dedicated to customer service. Karen is also their to give the voice of reason.
   My main role within the business is to concentrate on finance and business development. The industry has changed considerably  over the last ten years with legislation and recently the Working Time Directive, with this in mind I also look to ensure we comply with all aspects of the law for our customers and operatives benefits.

Karen Lawton – Franchisee
Karen's main duty is to ensure that Andy does everything that he is supposed to do when it has to be done. I try to play devils advocate as much as possible and challenge any decision that Andy makes to make sure that all options have been explored. We have to ensure every decision made will have a positive impact on our customers and operatives.

Les Lawton – Office Manager
I started with Driver Hire in April 1998 when it was formally known as Driver Hire Derby. Having spent 15 yrs as a coal miner it was a bit of a culture shock when I started but it was the best decision I've ever made. My main role within the company is to oversee the smooth running of the business, making sure that all customers and drivers are kept as happy as possible. There is nothing within the business that I don't do whether it be sales, customer liaison, interviewing I even make cups of tea! If anyone has any problems please do not hesitate to ring I'm always available (except when I'm on my motorbike).

I like - Profiteroles dipped in chocolate/Walking in the lakes/Motorbike racing . 
I dislike - Road Kill/Damp roads/whiskey.

Karis Holder - Office Administrator
Karis is the newest member of the Driver Hire Burton team she started on the 18th April 2005 and has progressed on to be an active member of the team. On a daily basis she does all the filing, office stationary stock control.

I like - Going out and getting drunk  
I dislike - Hangovers.
